Engineered by Meadowlark Optics, the Ultra-High Power Liquid Crystal on Silicon (LCoS) Spatial Light Modulator (SLM) delivers industry-leading performance for pure phase modulation under extreme laser power conditions. With support for continuous wave (CW) power handling ≥ 1 kW at 1070 nm, this SLM is optimized for high-demand optical applications.

Tested up to 1.4 kW at SPICA, the SLM maintains its full >1 wave phase modulation range, making it ideal for high-intensity laser environments.

Optimised Thermal Management

The integrated water-cooled copper heat sink features quick-disconnect tubing for seamless connection to external chillers. Combined with active thermoelectric (TEC) cooling, it ensures stable operation across varying heat loads.

Sapphire Coverglass Advantage

The heat-conducting sapphire coverglass efficiently channels heat away from the active area, ensuring high thermal stability and maintaining optical performance at elevated power levels.

Advanced Liquid Crystal Design

High-Temperature Liquid Crystal

The custom liquid crystal formulation sustains reliable phase modulation at elevated temperatures, expanding the usable power range of the SLM.

Precision Calibration & Control

Lookup Table Calibration

Users can achieve optimal performance by calibrating the SLM at their specific laser wavelength and power level using the included calibration kit.

Analog Phase Modulation

The SLM uses analog data addressing to provide pure analog phase control with high refresh rates (up to 1400 Hz), ensuring fast response and excellent phase stability for demanding optical setups.
